I'd need to see their OBP/SLG numbers but unless I had someone else to take those 150 ABs at SS, I'd have to go with B

I was going to use a AAA player to fill the at bat gap. I am using Phil Nevin as my super utility player that can play 1b, 3b,c, and of to fill in for those players that need a break.  But ss is where I will use AAA players the most.

I wouldn't use AAA at SS.

ok thanks guys, looks like option b is better. i'm just doubting leaving a guy that is going to strike out over 100 times in there.

SIM Event tree says: I really don't care how often a guy K's, an out's an out.

Thanks uncleal. I'm sure striking out does have some negative effect. If he puts the ball in play who knows what can happen...an error, advancing runners, etc.

Yeah, but if he strikes out, he avoids the double play and increases the opponets pitch count which are a plus.
