I don't usually use a LH relief specialist, but I thought I'd try it, using Brian Shackelford...

Winning 9-1, top of 6th, enter Shackelford (his settings says 7th inning or later, Sparky puts him in to start the 6th)

First batter:  Righty (HBP) 
Second batter:  Switch hitter who batted from right side (out)
Third batter:  Righty (single)
Fourth batter:  finally a lefty

A specialist facing 4 batters, ofcourse he exceeded his maximum pitch count of 10 

So why bother designating someone as a LH specialist, when Sparky just does what he wants anyway?

That wouldn't seem to be a specialist situation at all. After checking your other settings, fatigue, etc..., I would be inclined to send a complaint ticket to admin for comment/clarification.

Make sure you had RPs available to come in the 6th who were not below their Auto Rest setting before sending the ticket.
