anyone use Forbes Field and have success with it? Thinking about using my last team there

I've used three teams there. One didn't fare well, but the offense sucked.

The second, I had weak pitching but a good Pitt offense from the 20s and 30s and managed to reach 90 wins and a WC.

The third is ongoing (the second season of a progressive that goes with the previous team I mentioned), and they're leading the WC race again.

From my experiences, I'd say go a little heavier on hitting, because it seems to benefit pitchers more than hitters.

Dads Tigers 113 @ Forbes 33-25 1st Place, OL, currently tied 1st place

Dads Tigers 115 @ Forbes 24-16 100 Million, theme, currently tied 1st place

I have had a few others play there and all seem to do quite well

I just built a "Pirates Plus" team-- I put Albert Pujols in because in all Pirates history I couldn't find a real top flight 1b, both offensively and defensively-- so I might try Forbes. The team, as you can imagine, has some good hitters, but not much power, which was another reason to get Pujols. Oddly for a Pirates team, though, the strength of this team might be its pitching.

The most Home runs by 1 player was Howard Johnson with 24, Dave Segui had 19 and Gary Carter with 15
