How good are the WAA AAA position players? What's their salary range, and what kind of players could I expect in a farm team? Thanks.

WAA hitters are better than most of the regular hitters you see in OLs. most WAA pitchers are not very good but they'll give you a lot of innings.

Thanks, jfranco. That gives us a good picture of the quality.

Although Larry Walker OF is pretty damn good for a AAA
5/14/2010 9:36 PM
if it's pick your own WAA you can do much better than jfranco's example.

i dont give a **** -although i like AAA-but since my real last name is Koller I thought I should chip in

I really like the "pick your own" AAA. I am in a league that has AAA players that are automatically assigned. My 6 AAA positition players are batting a combined .152 with just 2 XBH after almost 200 AB, and my 2 AAA pitchers have a combined 13.50 ERA and 11.57 BB/9 after 37.1 IP. (They are wayabove average AAA.)
