This guy used to be good. I had a season once in which he finished the season with a 0.00 E.R.A. Now he is gasoline looking for a fire. His real numbers are 1.43 E.R.A., .197 OAV, .082 WHIP and 1.43 BB/9. On a current team of mine in a league where almost all hitters are random way above average, his numbers are 8.53 E.R.A., .385 OAV, 2.21 WHIP and 5.68 BB/9. If someone offered me two banana peels and a 1984 Topps Chet Lemon baseball card that had spent all summer in between bicycle spokes I think I would take it. Is he this bad for everyone else?

seems that way. 24 adams hasnt been as good lately either

I had both Rasmussen and Adams blow up for me in recent leagues but have seen others use them and achieve ok results, not the results you used to get with them

Some of the old "killer" RP are giving up way too many walks compared to before. I know individually it's a small sample size but they routinely are giving up 3-4 BB/9 when they're well below a BB/9# of 2. Check their player performances.

I've used Rasmussen, Adams and Northrop since the update and they have been getting ripped... badly.

Boy Northrop use to be my A #1 closer.Now just a bum

2008 Rivera was the money man for me, both before and after the update, until the last two months. He still has very few BB, but he has allowed a lot of hits and even a few HR lately, which have caused some higher BSV numbers.

2003 Gagne is still very effective, but who can afford $5.46M for a RP?

Has anyone had any success with 2009 Neftali Feliz ($1.70M)? I'm using him an a $120M, no AAA league, and he has 16 BB in 12.3 IP (RL 8 BB in 31.3 IP).

The walks do seem to be the unforgiving factor.. A few others not so good for me lately are niggeling dumont and even walter johnson. Hrs and walks ugh

Like all good things they ruin them in updates. Niggeling and McQuillan used to be money RP also.

Niggeling and Cisco Carlos used to be total money.

Hmm, even when I have used studs, my RP numbers have always been all over the board. I blame it on small sample sizes. Judging a 50 ip reliever after one season is like judging a player's batting after 165PA.

but you would think for every bad season you'd have (given a small sample size), you would have a great season mixed in.

Dont ***** about the BB's. Everytime I do someone says they are fine. Especially when Eck or Northrop walk 3 in an inning
