MLBT1254 Tournament Overview (Salary Cap: $130 Million)

When my team first joined this TOC, it was an 120M one. Any explanation to what happened?

And best part is, one team is at 139.9M salary, with salary cap for this toc at 130M, while my team is at 119M. Mensu's 63M team is in here playing an 126M team. GL winning that matchup.

tianyi...are you considering the real life values of AAA? Maybe Mensus 63M team has some high value AAA players?

This is true...my team has several above average AAA players. As seamar stated, true value of AAA players are factored in to determine your team's TOC cap placement.

But that does explain why there is a 139.9M team in the TOC.

If does = doesn't, I see the same loose end.

Or why my team w/o any AAA is in 130M TOC.

I don't understand the 139M team either...have you sent a ticket to admin?

This is a copy of the message I brought up to the WIS baseball council. Maybe some of the other members know the answer and I hopefully will get a response from admin.

"In MLBT1254, there are a few discrepancies in my understanding of team placement according to salary. This is a $130M TOC with a team at $119M with no AAA(Just Really Chunky), plus a team in at $139M+(Born and Bread). That's quite a bit of difference. Why is the first team not in a $120M TOC and the latter in a $140M TOC?"

Is it possible that 8 200K AAA players are counting against the $119mil team, even though they weren't used? That would put you over $120mil and into the $130mil league.

Or does it only count AAA players that are actually on your active roster?

Actually, wait, i do have a AAA pitcher. Didn't realize my mopup was a AAA rookie rather than a 200k scrub since the team is a few months old, but that still doesn't explain the 139M team in here.

Methinks a team has been waiting for a TOC to fill since the last salary update and had their team salary increase by about 10 million or so with said last salary update...

Hey! Good theory.

It would be a good theory if the 140M team's salary wasn't 139,938,288, which looks like an 140M theme team. And his starting SPs are all deadballers, which we know had a significant salary decrease, and only 2 players with range higher an A-, the main salary increase factor for positional players.
