How do you guys calculate the target pitchcount for an SP?

Is it (IP) * 1.1 * 16 / Games?

So if I plan to use the '12 WJ for 60 games, is it 394 * 1.1 * 16 /60?

Total innings pitched has nothing to do with in-game fatigue. The formula I use to determine my PC is:

IP/G X 15 (others use 16, but I'd rather err on the side of freshness!)

So for 12 Johnson I'd go 7.38 X 15 = 110.7

In which case, I'd give him a PC of 110/115.

But with that high of a PC, will he last 60 games?

Sorry, I misread your original question. But from my own experience using pitchers with a similar amount of innings, I'd say the answer is yes.

If you want a more precise answer, there's a thread somewhere that gives you a formula that calculates exactly how many pitches each pitcher is good for over an entire season.

'12 Johnson good for about 6087 pitches for 162 games or 101 pitches per game for 60 games.
