I'm entering the playoffs with one of my teams and wondering who i should have be the 2nd and 3rd starters. Ive used mostly a five man rotation all year and have 4 guys with very similar stats.

'85 Valenzuela 4.83 .252 1.46 6.24 4.14

'85 Hershiser 4.83 .262 1.55 4.27 4.66

'08 Bob Rhoads 4.59 .284 1.53 1.24 3.35

Valenzuela also has a 3.75 era when pitching at home.

I would pitch Valenzuela at home.

I'd have to see the defensive ratings of your team before commenting.

Seriously, though, Rhoads is probably your best bet against HR-hitting teams and Valenzuela against low-HR high-average teams. Hershiser can go against anybody as a 3rd starter.

Your stats don't back it up, but I personally would go Hershiser 2, Valenzuela 3...
