DO pitch setting effect performance? Topic

Here's my question I have 09 Sabathia ( home park of Fenway) playing in an all 2009 player league ( so I don't have any generational situations) On the year he's gone 9-12 5.66 ERA 1.61 Whip .302 BA. For his settings I have a TP 95 MPC 110 Call Bullpen 3. Do the settings I choose effect performance that greatly? I looked at his recent performance history and it much worse than his worst season so far. I'm having the same problem with R.Halladay except he's been slightly better. I have a 4 man rotation with Garza and Lester also, Garza, my least expensive pitcher has been a Cy Young candidate all year. One other note no pitcher including Sabathia has ever pitched at less than 99%, so it's not like I'm getting a poor performance due to fatigue.

Your settings seem fine for C.C. May be a case of really bad luck. Fenway's not exactly kind to pitchers, though. Wonder what his home/road splits look like.

Home - 19 games 6.59 ERA 1.76 Whip .333 OAV

Away - 19 games 4.82 ERA 1.47 Whip .274 OAV

Better away, but not that much better, still way off reasonably expected numbers. I mean he's supposed to be my #1. Guess I'll just have to pitch him on the road in the playoffs and pray :)

110 pitches might be pushing it... his IP/G is 6.76. If you just do it the easy way, 6.76*15 = 101. Given his K rate he should be good for at least 105.

Do the recommendations set by the SIM in the manager's office under advanced settings already include the *10%* allowance
