Errors vs. throwing errors Topic

If it says Ozzie Smith has 11 errors and 2 Throwing errors, does that mean he had 11 errors and 2 of them were of the throwing kind or he has 13 errors total? Inquiring minds would like to know.

It is 11 errors total, of which two of them are throwing errors. You should be able to confirm this by pulling up your fielding page for the team, which should (hopefully) show just the 11 errors.

Thanks - I am thinking that 11 errors at SS with 0 poor plays and 7 good plays is exceptional.

I was looking at another SS I have and he was rated a C- fielding and he has 35 errors and 17 poor plays.

Makes you appreciate the Mercedes when you got one.
