AAA Pitchers’ Stamina Topic

Just a little perspective if you please. I wonder, sometimes, if this whole Sim thing is trustworthy or if there are ridiculous bugs in the system that we are victim to.

I have an AAA Starting Pitcher who has a B Stamina Rating. Great numbers for an SP: Control - 5, Velocity - 10, Effectiveness - 10. I got excited thinking I could use this guy in my 5 man rotation and be conservative with his innings count. I pitched him in the 4th game of the year, he went 5 innings. Since then, 4 games have elapsed, and his fatigue is still 0(0)!!!!!! Can someone explain this? Is 5 innings enough to shut a "B" guy down for 10 games or more? What's the point of having a Stamina Rating if it is so unrealistic? If he had a Rating of C, would I lose him for 20 games?

stamina is based upon IP/G NOT IP/162.......so an A or B stamina pitcher may be good for 6+ innings in a start, but only 30 innings on the season

AAA players are actually players taken from real life. For AAA in an open league there is a cap on player value. So, the more talented your AAA pitcher is, the less innings he will have because his total price has to be similar to all of the other AAA pitchers in the league. And as Wonker said, their stamina is now based on IP/G.
There lots of AAA threads you can search and read about.

I miss the good old days when you could join a 60/20 AAA league and win by trading for F stamina players. everybody was eager to get rid of their best players.
