Has anybody drafted the guys with the new absolute best-and-worst RRF's in the sim since the new +/- distribution was released? I'd be very interested to hear how many net +/- plays guys like '18 Bancroft or '89 Howard Johnson are getting at SS, or '33 Hughie Critz at 2B, or an '88 Bobby Bonilla, or a '03 Mike Cameron are making per 162. Also if it's possible to rack up huge numbers (like 30 or greater net plays in either direction) at hitting positions like 1B/LF/RF.

These are range numbers, but make sure you get a great catcher arm. This was for a 2009 franchise league, Victor Martinez.

Not sure if this answers your question but Chone Figgins (2004) is killing me at 3b with 0+ plays and 21- plays after 120 games. He's never been a gold glover for me but he's never played this poorly in any season I've used him.

That's pretty much on track for the -30 they've been saying that D- fielders will now accumulate. Interesting.

question now is the A++ range better than just the A+, or even the A? I have the 1958 Richie Ashburn (3.24) playing CF and 1901 Jimmie Sheckard (A, 2.74) playing RF. Ashburn is at 16 + plays, Sheckard at 12, after 86 games.

I have often times seen corner OFer acumilate more + plays. It seems the sim uses a higher "standard" for CFs than it does for the corners.

Mine 127 games in 15 - plays 2004 Chone Figgins

82 games in 2007 Chone Figgins 7 - plays

'03 Cameron just finished a season with 25 + plays. 14 Speaker had 33 and 37 Dimaggio 30 in the same league had more. (& 78 Yount at SS had 26)

moneybonn, are those numbers fully compiled with the new engine or a mixture of the two? And are the OF's in center or corners?

I have used Rickey Henderson in CF and Mickey Rivers in RF twice in theme leagues, and both times Rivers had a few more + plays than Henderson.
