I had idea about creating a new theme league, but am too busy to really run it. If anyone wants to go with it and run the league, I think it would be really fun and successful. The idea behind it is to get some of the smacktalk that is involved more typically in Fantasy Football and such into the WIS. The idea behind this to challange other members to smackdown cahallenges once a week. Maybe I think Boogerlips has no idea how to build a team and I think I can beat him coming up on the Nov 30 PM 2 game. I issue my weekly challange to him one week in advance and challenge him to a throwdown worth 3 bonus points. The winner takes home a total effect of 4 wins.
I was thinking that once a week challenge would be the ideal time frame of the league. Not so often that you have to keep up with it everyday, but enough that you would 7-8 challenges during the season.
Some other potential thoughts on the league. $80 million dollar cap, no clones, no AAA. No real thoughts on DH, I guess the peron that wants to try to run the league could decide.
Some other thoughts on the throwdowns: Everyone has to partake in exactly one challegne per week. All challenges must be posted one Monday in advance and accept or declined by the next Monday.
Just some rough thoughts, but if anyone would want to try to refine it, lets see if we could get it going.
