in 2 leagues I'm in he's only being used by one owner. 1.17 - .230 - 1.93 thru 98 innings in Colt Stadium. better than expected so far.

Well it does not look like many people are using him any more.Or no one wants to say how he is doing.

thurst - I put him in an open league right before the update ... just for that very reason ... to see how he would do with the old price but new update. We are in the same division, and Bob is doing pretty well.

I want to know some number from people that had to pay the $19 some thing MIL.I put mine in for the same reason.I was getting ready to us him again.But I was hoping to find some feed back on the new one first.

It's not a new Bob, only a new price. Against the same competition, he should fare about the same. However, post-update, good hitting got a little more affordable (mostly due to good pitching going down a little), and good defense got more expensive, so that's tilted the field towards offense for everybody. Expect his numbers in similar caps to get a little worse, just like most pitchers.

I'm using 85 Caruthers after the update so far.....

21-20 2.84 ERA 1.16 Whip in 402 innings

Home - 7-10 182 innings 3.36 ERA 1.20 WHIP

Away - 14-10 220 innings 2.41 ERA 1.13 WHIP

Batting - 122 AB .172 BA 2 HR 14 RBI 9 Runs

note that the defense behind bob will suffer since the update, resulting in more errors, and therefore less earned runs given up, meaning lower era. this would not indicate he's pitching any better.

I just picked him up, off the WW. First start sometime today. I'll let you know.

One of the all time great seasons, and that's why he's so often used here.

reason enough to use him

Well he just beat me all 3 games he pitched in the TOC. He wasn't dominant at the plate or on the hill but he got the job done.
