Maybe I missed this explanation...

The current 60MM TOC has 14 teams that have been waiting forever to start. They made it there under the old version before this last update. By the time the 60MM TOC is filled there will be teams in there that made it from this new update.

When they finally play, under which version are they playing, new or old? I ask because many teams that made it previous may have salaries <60MM that in the new version are now >70MM. And what about the whole fielding normalization deal between post and pre version teams?

New version of the Engine. There are always casualties in progress. Congratulations, you are a casualty.

And 60mil now is what used to be 70+mil. So, its unlikely that one of our 14 teams will win.
