Ok so I have a team I took over in a progressive and have Paul Konerko, J.T, Snow and Edgar Martinez. I am a bit short on OF AB's and don't have a real good 3B. The year will be 1999.

Their ratings and real life stats are

Martinez is a D/D- at 1B with a .976 Fld% and 8.53CPG at 1B in 5 games

Snow is a A-/C- at 1B with a .996/9.36 at 1B in 160 games

Konerko is a B+/C- at 1B with .995/9.31 with 92 games at 1B and

D-/D- at 3B with a .846/1.97 at 3B in 1 game

I am thinking

Snow at 3B

Konerko in LF

Martinez at 1B

OR

Snow at 3B

Martinez in LF

Konerko at 1B

I usually never play guys out of position so am not sure what to do if I can't pull off a trade or get someone in the draft who can play right away. The team is pitching poor so I am not going to compete for a playoff spot anyway but I still want to be competitive.

Martinez has to play 1st....he'll kill you in the OF or at 3b.


I would try Snow at 3n.....I could be wrong but I think he'll be better than the .846F% Konerko has.

Yeah that was my thinking as well. Edgar did OK at 1B last season since he does have a rating there.

I am guessing that Snow will be better at 3B playing out of position than Konerko using his 1 game stats.
