I have a team set to go in this format, but can anyone tell me if there's anything I should be aware of? Are there AAA players just like in the regular open leagues. Is it just a different way to choose an $80 million open league team and, once the league is underway, everything is the same? Thanks.

I tried it once a few months ago. You do get AAA players just like open leagues. The AAA players are based off real single season players just like open leagues. So even though Diamond Leagues are made up of players whose career numbers are somehow averaged out so that there is only one instance of every player, the AAA players work exactly the same in Diamond Leagues as Open Leagues. The waiver wire will only consist of Diamond League players, but otherwise I think it is the exact same. Good luck.
