Just because I never have I want to try a pitching rotation that a freind of mine used recently.

If I want the 3rd starter to alternate between a/b every other start how do i set that up? is that a/b or tandem?

also I have about $7,250,000 to finish my roster and I'm looking for a righty and a y at close to 140 innings each to alternate? and a 75+ inning relief pitcher perferable y. am I asking to much or is there anything out there at that price that can compete in and $80 mill league.

3A/3B is the setting you want.

I use that set up quite a bit and when I do... I like to spend a somewhat more on the 3A guy... and then just have the 3B guy be a stiff who just pitches every 6th start. That way, when the playoffs roll around (assuming I make it), I can set up a 1-2-3 pitching rotation, and move the former 3B guy into my bullpen (Long B or something).

It's worked okay.

In that setup, I'd use AAA+Scrubs and maybe Frank Gillmore as my 3b.
