It's based on regular season records...

If your team won over 100 games, you'll be amongst the higher seeds. If you snuck into the WS with an 80-win team, you'll be amongst the bottom seeds.

When you get your HOF status though, you're guarunteed a top 4 position.

If you use the correct cheat code, sure.

Not that it really matters, as seeding has nothing to do with "expected to win" in the TOC.

Are you sure? I made a #7 seed with an 89 win team...

Sorry...I'm dumb. I was thinking a #7 overall seed, but it's 7 of 8 in my division. Makes more sense.
