To better improve the experience for all users, from prospects to hall of famers, we will be updating our Rewards Point distribution for SimLeagues (open leagues only, theme leagues are not effected). The new distribution is designed to have minimal effect on the average user, while still encouraging more creativity with teams and leagues and allowing for more variability in successful open league teams and users.

Effective with OPEN leagues that start on or after November 1st, users who have previously appeared in 6-10 World Series will only be eligible to earn 75% of applicable Rewards Points and Credits in future Open League Playoffs.

Users who have appeared in more than 10 Open League World Series will only be eligible to earn 50% of applicable Rewards Points and Credits in future Open League Playoffs.

Rewards Points and Credits for Theme Leagues are not affected by the update. Tournament of Champions prizes and eligibility will also not be affected by this update.

Open Leagues that are filled and scheduled before November 1st, 2006 will also not be affected.

With this change, we are also slightly adjusting the cost of a few items in the Rewards Center. The only items that have been changed are those that require us to make external purchases so the adjustment is solely intended to offset these costs. This minor update will also not take affect until November 1st.
