What sucks is that I don't know for sure who to tip my cap to when they beat me and who not to.
The folks using the "hack" undermine the top guys doing it the right way.
I also think some using the "hack" are pretty smart as to when they use it. They save it for the games that they need it...but I think that actually stands out and raises flags. Some outcomes don't make sense...like they purposely have two different teams they roll out. They often will beat very good elite teams by far more then they beat average teams or even Sims.
Agree. The non power 5 team that got my attention is flaunting it. Using a QB that should be in div 1AA and the leading receiver is a freshman with no FIQ with a 75% catch rate. Throwing up 60+ on a top 3 team in the nation. 800+ passing on a power 5 team. The closer I look the worse it gets.
The other couple of teams I'm pretty sure uses it at least have good teams.
You said in your initial post that the QB is ranked 31. Sounds like he should still be a D1A QB to me, and not D1AA. Shoot, that's still a top 32 D1A playoff QB. There are several factors that play into success. I don't think there's a "hack", but instead coaches who know how to execute and maximize their talent better. A D1AA QB, as you call it, can do very well in the right system with high FIQ in D1A. This happens IRL all the time. I've beaten plenty of Elites with non-BCS schools before and it wasn't because of an exploit. I've also been on the other side of it. With the right defensive talent and game plan that type of offense can be slowed down considerably, especially paired with your own offense that sustains drives and controls the clock.
It's easy to throw out accusations when you don't completely understand something or have the complete picture, but it denigrates the other person and their accomplishments. They, too, spent considerable time building and putting their team together.
