RB depth chart on 2-pt conversions Topic

In what proved to be the last play of the game, my #3 RB was stopped short of the goal line in OT -- failed 2-pt. conversion..

Question: why would the AI choose the #3 RB when #1 was available (#1 was 93/94 on fatigue, with a fatigue/substitution level set at 90)? I lost the game fair & square, but want to understand -- how I do prevent the computer from choosing my second-weakest RB in such a critical play? Anyone ever seen that before? In no part of the depth chart (Power, Poss., etc.) was the ball-carrier ahead of my #1 RB.

Are the special-teams selections random? Seems unlikely, but I have my suspicions. thanks for any help!

Does your #3 RB have the highest Special Teams Formation IQ of your RB's? Or at least higher than the #1 guy who was on the sidelines? Maybe special teams line-ups are chosen on that basis, although I've always believed it follows the 4th down settings if you try the two-point conversion.

He’s got the 3rd-highest Special Teams formation IQ, so that’s not it. It SHOULD be depth-chart dependent, but it’s not — that’s troubling & should be fixed.

If not based on depth chart, how does the AI choose?

It should be based on depth charts and playbooks. I would definitely double and triple check those, then send a ticket in if everything looks good.
