I have abandoned in Warner IMO the best D2 team in this world. Went 18-1 lost in NC but I stand by fact I believe them the best. Highest overall averages. Red shirted key players. High WE. Again IMO you will not find a better team anywhere in any world (d2) taken care of this well.
My point is , No One has applied for it. In the past it would have been snapped up.
But it seems that no one cares for this game any more except the few still hanging on and a few that stumble upon it and try it out.
If anyone "is" interested , it is Cheyney.
But it is sad to see the state of GD :(

With NCAA 25 being released in July I think it's going to get worse.

I think almost everyone that is still playing...is playing more so out of addiction more so than out of fun.

It's hard for me to "let go" of my teams...otherwise I would have quit this game many years ago.

I'm still hanging on. Mostly to see how well I can do with Hawaii. I'll probably renew for another ten games, but I can see a point where I'll just leave. There are some very strong players who seem to have left recently. And the population of coaches is shrinking, shrinking.

The game is dying in my opinion. Maybe slow death, but it's dying.

Well you could always join our new Discord (which is hopping!) and go to that world's channel and see if anyone there may be interested. You could also just chat about "the good old days" with some of the users. And if you felt really generous, become a Mentor and help show the ropes to a few new coaches we've assembled. There's a group trying their luck in Stagg right now.

Maybe none of the coaches feel like they can live up to the expectations that the folks at Cheyney have become accustomed to, they can't live with that type of pressure! lol

Yeah, I was going to do the preseason poll in Stagg, but there didn't seem to be a lot of interest. And life's been busy for me, so why spend the time on it if no one cares...just being honest. When it was done in the past, there were over 100 human coaches in D3, a rebuild was truly a rebuild lol.
