Question on moving up levels Topic

I would like to try a new strategy in DIV 3 however I was thinking of dropping my Akron team to go back to DIV 3. So my question is after I try this new strategy would I be able to immediately move back to DIV 1 or would I have to climb the ladder back to DIV 1 again.
