considering attempt #6.
I have a team in my draft center I think will do well... not sure how close I'll get Wilt to 10apg though since usage is too expensive to surround him with 4 other guys that are higher than him.  Still, I think it's a pretty decent squad.  I may do some tweaks between now and then, but after I get back from vacation I might give it a whirl.

I think Dumars & Mailman will steal a lot of Wilt's assists... but everything is so different now that I feel like it's the best starting point.

I'm not sure if I should call it Wilt's Trip Dub VI  or Wilt's Trip Dub 2.1

Played in a division with 2 hc teams and one sd one.  I knew there was no hope by the 10th game.  Still, was alright for the first try with the new set-up.

It didn't work... he finished the regular season right on 9 apg. I had several other players on the roster with 10+% ast%, so that's part of the issue, but I refused to build a team that wouldn't have a chance.

But I got close.

(I was looking for the old post to bump where we were talking about this, but I couldn't find it).

On the bright side, I did build a winning team out of the deal... very surprised at how good we played over the last half of the season/playoffs.

Im thinking 02-03 Garnett would be a better candidate you could have more scorers for him to assist to. With Wilt being such a high scorer he cuts his assist potential in half off the bat by taking all the shots he cant assist hisself!!

I see your using a lower usage wilt maybe thats the problem needs higher usage to have the ball more to have more assists. I have to say this is very thought provoking.

also what about using kidd on a low rebounding team

you want lower usage... higher usage means he's more likely to end up shooting the ball, getting fouled or turn it over. 

I won't do Kidd on a low rebounding team because I want my team also be a winner.  Also, I want to get Wilt to do it.  I got him really, really close once (needed 31 assists and everyone in my division played H/C or SD on me in the last 10 games for some reason).

I am doing it again.  Not going so well as far as the triple-double part though.  Only 8.8 apg right now.  Team's doing pretty good though.  Dammit now I can't post stats/tables at work either.  ******* wis.

Not a chance in hell of getting it.  Two teams in my division are running slowdown, two others are running half court.  Waste of a team.

Thinking of making a run. The idea being keeping assist from other players down, since Wilt will get his points and rebs. OR maybe just a shameless run at the season scoring average - if that's even attainable anymore.
