Started off with a scharwze (6-0). Nowhere to go but down from here.

The '300 steals' team was the roster I was least sure of. So, naturally, that team is 3-0!

Is it too early to begin clamoring for the awesome spreadsheets from last year, especially the cumulative standings? ; )

9-9 first day. Though it’s just one series, my teams all feel relatively strong… except my $80m team which was absolutely destroyed. Good news there is that the team played exactly as I hoped and built them to play. We lead the league in hits, are in the top 1/4 for runs scored… just have to hope there aren’t too many more teams built around BB and HRs that play in -2B parks…

Across the teams and leagues we faced three ‘08 Ed Walsh in the first three games and they allowed a combined 16 runs over 15 innings (I always draft anti-deadball pitcher teams when they’re an option, so it’s nice to see this seems to have worked so far).

Missed out on the 18gsp today, but starting 16-2 is exciting.

Thanks so much for doing that - I really enjoyed that last year. It looked like a great deal of work!

In my 80M league, base stealers are successful 88.7% of the time so far. The top team already has 35 SB. Overall teams are averaging 3.8 SB/G. I think it will be really interesting to see how SB totals and success rates correlate with winning.

80 M team hitting .183 thru 4 games with no slug. 9 SB - can’t get on base ~ the only player contributing is Bert Campanaris my D catcher!

Through 6 games in the Steals league, '59 Aparicio has 3 SBs . . . and 3 HRs. Go, little Looie!!

I hate boxes. My $100M team is slashing a stellar .201/.283/.356 and my pitching is posting an outstanding 7.62 ERA and 1.98 WHIP. The next worst team has a 1.62 WHIP. Absurd.
