TOC update: during the 1st round I wondered why my seemingly solid $100m grid team was struggling, They finished 84-78 but luckily won their division, and ended up losing the WS 4-2 to Qhadow123. This left me in 25th place, one agonizing point short of the 2nd round. Though I fortunately qualified thanks to some dropouts.
In the TOC, although Qhadow123 and I were both 8 seeds, we ended up playing a rematch in the semifinals, which I won last night 4-1. So yes, I think I can safely say this team was pretty good and did underperform in the WISC regular season. Whether that means anything for my $120m grid team in round 2, we'll have to wait and see.
