After a quick look at your roster, I see a couple mistakes:
  1. Excessive use of the waiver wire. I'm not sure what your current salary is but it looks like it's a lot less than $80M. That 10% tax on transactions adds up quickly especially when you're dumping expensive players.
  2. Overpaying for fielding. 1972 Brooks Robinson and 1975 Ken Henderson are both way overpriced, neither hits for power or average and you would need superhuman fielding to make up for that. Both are good fielders but not nearly worth what they cost. A general rule of thumb is that fielders with two A ratings but no A+ range will be overpriced and not worth it for any position, with the possible exception of shortstop.

You said it yourself. No offense. Your current hitters have a total real-life OPS under 700. That's not going to be successful in an OL.

Agree with both the posts above, but really want to emphasize avoiding the waiver wire. Learn to give the guys you drafted an opportunity as the 10% fees quickly put you at a disadvantage.
