What is better and why??

I think most people run uptempo. Uptempo will add about 2% to your shooting percentage, but will also increase your turnovers. I suggest that you read everything you can find that was written by ashamael concerning usage and team building and all of that.

This game is addicting.

It has a lot to do with the type of team you wish to build. If you are trying to keep turnovers low and slow the game down because of players you drafted then up tempo may not be for you. The only time I ever ran slow down was with a high turnover, high foul team that I was attempting to mitigate the obivious disaster that I was going to face be playing up tempo.
