Sorry, just bored on a Saturday afternoon (it is Saturday right?) and started thinking about this bit of esoterica - what are your favorite micro season players? by which I mean low cost low minutes guys who are almost perfect and if they were 2400 minutes plus guys would be drafted in the first couple rounds in every draft league - here are a few I like

Between the ORb% and STL% that Al Masino season is clearly just a glitch in the matrix - that has to be a column defect or something right? and look at his shooting % break down - for some reason simmy decided that the guy whose 2pt%# is 61% went ahead and took 46 of his 71 attempts from behind the arc only making 15 of them which completely judo'd his efficiency straight to hell

the Masino estate is on the phone Scott: "I will have you know sir, my uncle Al never took a 3 in his entire life"

That Christian Wood season is a favorite.

full minutes, SF 100%, Christian Wood would be a very bad man, indeed

97-98 Mario Bennett is a real treat.
18-19 Ekpe Udoh is one of my favorite seasons in the SIM. one of three 65/100 guys in the SIM along with B Wright and Robert Williams.
also any of the Bobans

The Bobans are nice! if some genius coach gave Boban full minutes he'd be a top 6 pick

(also he would very soon probably have to retire after whatever catastrophic injury because that is a not a body that is supposed to be used that way for any extended period of time at all)

Cole Aldrich's 330-minute season: 54% efg, 87 D, 12/31 rebounding %, 5.6 blk%, and reasonably low fouls.

Also Baron Davis's 380 minute season. Tier 2 usage, 52% efg, over 30% assist - one of only four seasons in the database hitting those benchmarks (one CP3 season, two Harden seasons)

I know he isn't a micro season, but that Duncan Robinson is sure a one trick pony.

19-20 brings us an amazing 204 minute John Konchar, whoever that is.

73 D. 71.6 eFG%. 25+% CRB (as a PG!). 8 TOs and Fouls total over those minutes (less than 2 per 48)

Sidney Lowe 88-89. 250 minutes, 92 assists versus 9 turnovers. That's an A/T of 10.2!
