and those 600k 3 minute a game players are still going to get injured just as  per usual because there's been no change to the fatigue logic nor the wicky-wacky substitution logic

oh yea...also want to add the 09-10 draft league has no salary cap...so if youre frustrated by trying to build a bench, sign up for this league....these f'd up salaries mean nothing there

One player that I noticed is 88-89 Mark Aguirre.  Good shooter, but nothing special.  He went from 900,000ish to over 1,700,000.  Dont like it at all.  Now you have to spent 8,000,000 just for a minute filling bench.  TOO HARD!

I actually like it a lot better that way.

Robusk,

How do you build you bench then?  I would really like to know not just ********.

I mean, you have to pay more now...  I like that though  I have been playing around a lot in the draft center and I like the 8 man rotation.  I actually like the teams where I have 2 cheapish but effective low usage/high minute guys and then load up on 6 lower minute offensive players who can play a lot of positions.  The teams that always payed 90% of the salary to a starting five and then a cheap *** bench of poorly priced players always kind of annoyed me.  It is a 12 man roster, just like in RL and it feels normal to me that at least around 1/3 of your team salary should be going towards the bench.

In all fairness though, I don't know this particular engine as well as others...

Unfortunately, the majority of the people who understand this sim very well are intolerable (read: blowhards).

Luckily, there are a couple active people like LTB who seem to fight the good fight.

actually in the NBA it's a 14 man roster and they have a soft cap and can sign as mant guys to vets minimums as they need to fill out their squad - not like here at all

and while most teams go 7 or 8 players deep they do tend to play their starters a significant portion of those minutes

then again who gives a crap about real life team structure - you clearly dont understand that the appeal of this site to the large majority of potential new users has nothing to do with trying to build the Memphis Grizzlies
