160 theme league I can choose any Ruth from 20-24. $$ not a factor. Home park will probably be Baker Bowl I,m leaning to 24

Just like thurst says above, 1920, 1923, 1921, then 1924, but the 1922 is no slouch. The 1920 Ruth is the best hitter in the sim, period.

I agree with elbirdo.  If money is no object, go with the `23 Ruth.  His RC is superior to `20, he has about 100 more PA and he will give you A+ range at 1B and A range in the OF.  I would say `21 Ruth is second (also based on more PA and better defense) followed by `20 Ruth in third.

I like 21 because it's baker bowl. '20 is the better hitter but at 646 PA, he can't last a whole season.
