1987, just pencil in 100+ steals, Just finished an open league. One had 185 and the other 146 sb's

Yeah, well you need to have him talk to his 1987 counterpart in my league  because after 60 games, he's only stolen 25 bases and gotten caught 9 times. LOL

I've used him twice. I feel his poor defense does not make up for the offensive numbers he puts up....but, of course, his OBP was around .330 both times I used him....

I was the 146 sb version, just set at 5 for the season.

He plays C/C defense and is a passable right fielder. Also, his offensive numbers include 100+ RC for $4.2m. I'm not sure I see the issue here

I just feel there a better values, 1989 Raines ($4.5 m) and 1994 Bip Roberts ($3.9 m) to name two will give you better overall offensive numbers and field better. Of course, if you want 100 steals then Vince is the way to go.....
