Is steven strasburg an allstar ?....I dont think so.

Wrong forum for this, but I'll bite.

It's the All-STAR game, and there are few players who pitch for other teams that people would want to see more than they do SS.  He's who the fans want to see, so I think unless he tanks horribly it would not be inappropriate for him to go.

I think a player has to earn the privilege to play in an allstar game.The padres have one of the best pitching staffs in NL & not one orginal pick....You want to reward this guy for what hes done in college,cuz he hasnt done jack yet in majors....Fanhouse took a poll yesterday after an article by dumbass mariotti.The last time i checked there were about 14 posts and only one supporting him for allstar consideration.

Are you seriously surprised that he didn't go redwingscup? Mpalco is right.  He's riding off his college dominance and has yet prove himself against the Big Boys.  In another year or two he may very well be deserving.  But this year, 2010, I don't think so.
