Seems like alot of $$$ to spend for so few PA... That's like spending over $6m for a full season player, and at that price he better put up good numbers...

At $1.7m and over 300 PA/162 I like the '87 Oquendo much better.

PT Jefferies is very good.  I love `87 Oquendo -- hard to beat a half season of A+ fielding at five different positions and a .400 OBP for $1.7 MM.  Can't go too far wrong with Wilson Delgado for 249K and change.  Biglenr remains my guru for building a SIM baseball team or running a theme league, but in this case I would recommend ignoring his crankiness.  I always get excited about individual performances that catch my eye and I post them for others to see.  Who else am I going to tell?

Perhaps I'm jaded, but I don't get the point.

Despite his reputation for being a nice guy, biglenr is often a bigjerk.  if he doesn't get the point of this thread, he should just move on without comment.

I, too, enjoy the monster stats part-timers can frequently put up....my favs are Wedge and Medina
