To play full time 2nd base in a high cap league

1890: normalized #'s: .351/.434/.508, + numbers: 137/132/145 speed:82 fielding: d+/b- (.928/5.38)

1896: normalized #'s: .339/.453/.443 + numbers:122/132/115 speed: 63 Fielding: c-/a+ (.942/6.36)

Does the range justify the reduction in offense?

If I had to take one, I'd go with eigtheen ninety.

96 has better raw stats so dont expect much reduction in offense. d+ errors at 2b scare me almost as much as the difference in range.

I'd take 96... that's some sweet range.

Yeah, love the range. I think the range is a bigger factor than he fld, range is really high in '96. Difference between fielding is .18%, maybe 4 or 5 additional errors in a season? not a huge deal. My team sucks defensively, which makes me like '96, but the speed and + are so much better for '90. The cap is really high, variable with about 150 million average... I am just worried the '96 edition will end up defensively superior, but hitting .260/.380/360 or something ugly. The '90 might actually be able to hit elite pitching. Still unsure. Leaning '90.

With the superior range the 1896 one will make a boatload more errors.

1890 is so much better offensively. The splits aren't that uneven really, but that speed will make a huge difference I believe.

We have Fld# now fellahs. They'll make a nearly identical number of errors.

I think I'm going with '90. Thanks for the advice all
