Why is this pitcher tired? Topic

Just sent this ticket to admin regarding my 1988 progressive team, Cleveland Screaming Eagles (MLB87831):

I have 1988 Bob Milacki on my team. 26 real life innings.

During the regular season he pitched 21 innings. In the first 3 games of the playoffs, he pitched 4 innings. So for 162 games plus the 3 playoff games, 25 innings total.

Right now he's at 96 (96) and listed as being 4% over.

I understand stamina is based on pitches thrown and not innings, but even by this measure I would think he would be under, since he pitched very well for me (in real life .72 ERA and .72 WHIP, for me .86 ERA and .62 WHIP regular season, and in the 4 playoff innings .00 ERA and .75 WHIP -- it's not as if he's been throwing a lot of pitches in his appearances). With the 10% allotted "bonus" I don't see how he can be tired after pitching 25 total innings in the regular season/first round.

Any ideas?

Can't bank any more than 5% of his unused innings... They changed that a while back to prevent people taking low IP studs like Bob and rolling them full time in the playoffs.

Also, he's "on pace" to pitch every playoff game. Although I'm not 100% sure how they calculate playoff appearance fatigue, I think Sparky assumes he's going to pitch everyday and calculates his fatigue number accordingly.

You're right about the 5%. For some reason I got mixed up and figured I had banked 5% by banking 5 innings, but of course that's wrong. I suppose I only banked something like 1.3 innings in this case, and I've already used those up.

And he's pitched in 2 of the 3 games, not every one. In any case, he'll start game 5 if necessary (slightly tired) and then win or lose he'll be done.
