Is there a rule of thumb for pitch count or learn as you go?

well, to avoid in game fatigue you need to avoid going over the RL ip/g.

There is a formula in a thread somewhere I think it is "pitch allocation" by elbirdo.

I just use 16.5 pitches per inning because I can do it in my head.
