I'm taking over a league for someone at his request. I haven't been a commissioner before so i don't know how I will get the league aligned properly once the last team has been entered. 12 people have NL teams with pitchers from years as specified by the theme. TH AL teams have pitchers from a different era. I need to make sure that the teams align accordingly.

All the leagues I have been in the league aligns randomly and seems to be automatic. I need to be able to stop that from happening and align it the way i need it to be. Sending a ticket in seems like it would take a long time. They are sitting on some tickets sent in regarding the changing of the commissioners. It's been 2 days and nothing has happened. If I must depend on them to get my league properly aligned via a ticket at this speed the league will be aligned after several games have gone off. How do I make suree these teams get aligned the right way?

It's a setting when you're creating the league. Most likely the commish who started it selected "manual realignment", which means when all the teams are in, you'll have the chance to align them

After the league fills you'll get an option with the other commissioner options in the league page for "realign league" From there you just manually set the alignment or hit the "random alignment" button.

"auto alignment" hadn't worked in the last 2 leagues I joined. In this last one the commish commented that there was no longer even a manual realignment option available. In normal leagues where it doesn't really matter much if one is in the NL or the AL I guess realignment isn't that big of an issue-outside of the normal concern that you might not want to be in a division with someone in particular.
