I am sure someone else has seen this before but I was playing on Live at Fenway and one of my guys hit a ground rule double to LCF. I guess they were using bouncy balls during that at bat.

I would pay good money to see that play happen.

I happens there every year. I have seen 2 myself. Ball hits in fair territory in front of the wall in LCF and bounces right over the short wall in center into the stands for a ground rule double.

You mean in front of the bullpens? It would be pretty hard to call that LCF. It's either CF or RCF.

I do occasionally see balls bounce into the crowd just the RF side of the garage door, even though that's still a reasonably high wall. But, again, that's really not LCF. But I don't recall ever seeing one go over the door. (And even if it did, I wouldn't call it LCF.)

I have seen balls hit in fair territory down the line then bounce up over the wall in foul territory.

I'm sure it was actually scoreboard-related. Maybe Manny the door open a smidge after sneaking in to take a whizz.
