On the GD forum we've been having a post about best/worst pro football uniforms-let's extend it to baseball.Pick your 3 favorite MLB uniforms and 3 worst:

Favorite:Atlanta Braves,San Francisco Giants,and as much as I hate to say

Worst:Toronto BLue Jays,Florida Marlins,Houston Astros

faves: Yankees, Reds, Pirates

hate: Rays, Red Sox, Padres

Favorites: Cards, Giants, Rangers

honorable mentions: orange orioles and giants, yellow A's, Dodger home, expos home

Worst: Padres (old brown), White Sox (with the shorts), Phillies (home red pinstripes in the stale Vet Stadium)

honorable mentions: any powder blue jerseys from the 80's

Wost of all time was the Tucson Toro's. They were the Indians AAA club when I was a kid in the 70's and I still remember the colors: Yellow, Light Orange, Darker Orange and Black.

In the majors - The Astros of the 70's was the worst.

WORST: San Diego - road (tie)
San Diego - cammys (tie)
Detroit - road

Best - O's, Rockies, Giants (also partial to sleeveless looks - Colorado, TB, Cincy, Pirates).

I also like unis with history, that have been around a while, like Cubbies, Yankees, etc.

Worst: D'Backs, SD camouflage

Classic bad: 70's A's, 80's Padres

best home: Tigers, Dodgers, Giants

worst: jays, rays, padres.... and it even rhymes

Oh yeah, those Padres Cammy's are awful.

Classic worst :'75-'86 Astros, '82-'86 White Sox, '76-'84 Padres

Current Best : Giants, Cards, White Sox

Current Worst : Padres (A vast improvement over the brown and orange years but still hideous.), Blue Jays, A's

Pet Peeve: Can't stand the current pant legs to the knees or to the shoes looks. Can we bring back stirrups? That's the way everyone wore them when I was growing up.

Today: Dodgers and Cardinals whites. Yankee pinstripes ().

Worst: Rockies, Marlins, Rays (pretty much all the expansion teams).

Best: Cardinals, Yankees, Tigers, in that order. Honorable mention: Dodgers.

(Yeah, I'm a traditionalist when it comes to baseball.)

Worst: Tie -- Rangers, Padres.

Best logos: Astros, Diamondbacks.
