Not nearly enough...think more along the lines of 1550+...and 1600 if you don't want any fatigue problems. Will you have any AAA pitchers? That will make a big difference.

No AAA, no WW, no trades. Oddly they are allowing injuries too. That could really create a mess. No way to adjust the loss of a player. I tried to draft defensively versatile players.

At $180 mil, the real question is how are you spending close to the cap with only 1430 IPs? I mean, how much did you spend on your lineup?

Yeah, I'd want at least 1,700 IP for that league. You can easily afford that and still have a great lineup.

In fact I just entered a team in that league with 1491 IP. We'll see how it plays out.

180 mil plus low hr total = guys with very high averages and OBP = lots of pitches per inning = a need for more pitching. I usually go low on IP but No way I would in this league. most teams top 8 batters are going to have averages of at least .380 - .400

You da man Lover boy, can't argue with your record as you walk the walk.....but, I think you will be trading some hitters in for some pitching before game 50. Pusseyman here. I would go toward 1600 IPs. Too many high OBP guys...will eat your innings (pitches over 17- 18 per) up with walks. Interesting though. Depends on how much WIS penalizes you for fatigue....I once played a guy in a WS who threw zeros on me and had only 60 -70%????

Just for fun I just built the team I would enter in that league. I drafted 1514 innings.

Wow, I didn't realize it but I $13M on the table. If I was smart I would drop one of my short inning guys and pick up Toney for a spot starter/long guy. But that would defeat the purpose of taking under 1500 IP.

I already put Toney on the team. And a lot of my money is taken up by a John McGraw who's going to sit on the bench most of the time. Unless he bumps Honus Wagner; either way I would have a player sitting on the bench. Not that I'm in the league. Not that it's even going to fill, apparently. Just saying.

You should enter your team then..... it will be one less person for it to fill.....
