Anyone have any luck with him? I've tried him quite a few times and he always underperforms. Currently in a $120M Random Pitchers league with pitchers averaging .275 OAV league-wide I'm using his 2008 version. He's batting .236.

Yeah, the 09 version is very disappointing particularly given the bad arm.

I use 08 Mauer almost exclusively in open leagues and he generally does well

he hits from .310 to .320 with obp from .380 to .390

he has had over 100 rbi in yankee2 stadium more than once

I used '08 Mauer in a $100M OL. Here were his stats:

681 PA 174 H .293/.376/.384 BA/OBP/SLG 16 2B 7 3B 8 HR 87 RBI

78/80 BB/K 4.96 RC/27 0/0 +/- 6 Errors 32 CS 129 SBA

I think I had him batting 7th and the home park was 3Com.

I've used him in 120M leagues when I wanted a y hitting catcher, batted him 7th, and he did fine. I'll use him again.
