sometims the solution is worse than the problem.

The fatigue strategy, as labeled in these forums, never really bothered me. I don't run my teams as such. My idea is a simple one. Just automatically don't allow players to be played at or below a certain fatigue level. I don't know what that number or benchmark should be (90%? 80%? Another number?). But if a player is at or below the benchmark, I'm sure that WIS can block that player from starting or entering the game.

I'm going to start an anti-rainbow league. Anybody who's user name is, kind of is, or describes rainbows is not allowed.

(4)Incentivize drafting more PA and IP by giving more cash to players that draft more PA.For example if the league baseline was $80M and no AAA, offer and extra $7000 for every PA between 5000 and 5600.Similarly an additional $26000 could be offered for each IP between 1250 and 1400
(1) I don't like this because it basically forces you to platoon players (or waste a lot of salary).

(2) Considering OL have AAA, those limits are way too high.

(3) That is too restrictive.

(4) I don't like the idea of manipulating the salary cap.

Just to be clear, I have also used the fatigue strategy. I was just interested in creating a league that limited its use, at least somewhat.

I think everybody uses a platoon system and or fatigue strategy to some degree. I read Zub's intent to eliminate the extreme examples of this kind of strategy. A strategy where teams draft enough PA/IP for say 120 games or so and let the scrubs play the balance of the games. One way to restrict this kind of strategy would be to simply put a requirement in place where 5,6, or 7 position players (choose a number) have 640 PA or more and a certain number of pitchers have a required number of IP in order to make the playoffs.

in leagues I have started lately, I turn injuries on, no trades, which has become my main pet peeve, guys trading 200k players to get fresh 200k players. I understand they have closed that loop hole. As long as injuries are on, fatigue strategists don't bother me at all. My most recent (filled) league was 1m floor, 8m ceiling, no AAA, and I don't believe anyone in that league is using the FS. Truthfully, I respect the guys who can win with the FS, I've tried it and I can't make it work for me. Of course, I think we would all agree that if you aren't fighting fatigue issues all season long, you are not going to win. When I start a league, I want anyone to be able to use whatever strategy they think they can win with, without creating a situation where any strategy has an obvious advantage. Another issue which has been brought to my attention, is where the salary numbers will be for the teams that get into the TOC. We want to be in an advantageous situation. Hope I helped.

I wasn't referring to OLs
