I haven't played in two updates, because after the first one I never really got a feel for it but since there was an update fairly recently, I'm thinking of jumping back in. What seems to be popular now? I'm not asking for your players or anything like that, just curious on styles. I know they normalized fielding...so is defense the popular style now or what? Thanks for any help you give.

With the exception of homeruns, the sim is probably closer to real-life than it has been for a few years. If you know the basics of how the sim works and you know a bit about real life baseball (line up construction, in which positions is defense valuable etc.), you should be able to build a good team with a variety of strategies.

Sounds good, but for homeruns...whats the negative part of it? Too few? Too Many?
