D Defense in OF Topic

I thought I read a thread on this but I cannot locate it:

How many "-" plays can I expect for a full season from an OF with a D range factor?

At least 24.

I don't think it is that bad...

I have 2 recently completed champs/open leagues where I experimented with different player ratings.

at 3b, 1995 Wade Boggs A+/D- yielded 9 errors, 1+ play, 12- minus plays. How can you complain about that.

In Rf 1915 Gavvy Cravath D/C yielded 8 errors, 10+, 0 - plays. I'd call that a total fluke, but in the champions league he has 7 errors, 6+, and 0- plays....You explain it to me.

In CF 1919 Ty Cobb B-/B had 6 E, 6+, 4- - that sounds about right for that rating.

I would say probably about 10-15 depending on how low his RRF is and where you play him (you'd get more in CF)
