From an $80m league team, which of the above is Pedro Martinez '02 at $7.93m and which is John Cerutti '89 at $3.95m?
Isn't luck wonderful?
The same Pedro year on another $80m team is 9-10. What ever happened to the truism that you get what you pay for?
(Yes, I know the samples are small, and both teams have mediocre offenses. And I know that so far Cerutti is the best bargain I've ever had.)
