What happens if three teams tie for 1st place and there is no wild card?

Game 1: Team A @ Team B
Game 2: Team C @ Winner of Game 1

I believe they use head-to-head followed by a "coin flip" to determine who gets to choose first (choose to be Team A, B, or C). Then the second team chooses next and the final team is with the last spot (always going to be Team A). Generally, the first choice should be Team C, though I guess some times might (wrongly) prefer to play two home games instead of one road game.

Really? That sucks for team A and B.

yeah...the only other option is a round robin of sorts. that gets time consuming and tricky since it lends itself to even more ties.
