I have Bill Mazeroski '63 in a progressive league. He has 7 + plays in 19 games.

His RRF is 6.19.

Is that ridiculous highly? I know I can't expect him to keep this pace but do you think he's the type of guy they are targeting for 30 + plays a season?

Yes, it's very high. if you're looking for OPS+ of 90 or better, and C fielding or better, the best guy with 500 PA is at 6.89 (Curt Welch).

'63 Maz would be the 49th highest player meeting those criteria. I think that a really high-end guy would probably end up well over 30... Maz will probably end up around 30.

I have 72 Dave Cash in a league and he's got 10 +plays in 60 some games...I've noticed a lot more + plays for my opponents 2b too since the update.

Welch doesn't have 20 games at 2nd, so he'd be a bust there. The rangiest 2nd baseman over a season would be 1933 Hughie Critz. I have him on a team and he has 11 + plays in 354 innings which means he is on pace for around 40 for a full season.

1913 terry turner has done wonders for me so far. this is my first league with him. 11+ plays in 449 innings, second is chase utley. 2nd is 06 utley with 5 in 517 innings.

turner was a waiver wire picku, hence the lower innings. He's a good #9 hitter.

so how does it work? If someone plays less than 20 games at one position, he's not going to be any good?

ie 2009 brendan ryan has less than 20 games at 2nd base, so he wouldn't be any good, no matter how awesome the RRF would be?
