Most wins all time MLB open leagues Topic

Like the civil war, there needs to be some bleeding. I'd love to see what owners have the top 25 most wins of all time. Call it the Casey Stengel Award. Yeah, we may have lost alot, but we won alot too.

Too much emphasis is placed on the TOC winners, champs, etc... Let's see a record list of most wins all-time. Maybe we could name it in honor of Bert Blyleven. Yeah, he played on alot of crappy teams, but we all know he should be a hall of famer, just because he won 287 games with crap mostly. Those of us owners who have bee n around since the inception of the game, promoted it, and caused thousands of others to join, should be recognized in the records category somehow.

What irony! You seek recognition yet post using an alias (to avaoid being recognized)....

well aside from being an awesome TV show...

it's when a really good or experienced player starts a new identity, for any number of reasons.

-to get a free team or a good discount when promos are offered to people when they first join WIS
-to get full rewards in an OL
-to avoid messing up their "main" username with test teams
-to 'reset' a bad reputation with their current username
-to look really impressive when they win a league with their first ever team
-to have 2 teams in the same league and be allowed to trade between them
-to troll the forums

Jfranco well said however you may have overlooked one other reason for creating an alias. Take a guy who has been toiling in relative obscurity on the site for years and decides that he would like to post some record for recognition. Kinda like what the original poster was suggesting here. He hatches a plan. He goes to the records section finds a team with 120 wins in a season or more and copies it and then puts it in 10 leagues with the objective of winning as many championships as possible so as to have the record of highest percentage of ws wins. After having done that he can then strut about like a proud peacock and claim to be some SIM genius hoping to make everybody envious.
